Bill Reynolds, the Historian at the Campus Martius Museum in Marietta, portrayed General Rufus Putnam. General Rufus Putnam was the leader of the 47 Revolutionary War officers who formed the “Ohio Company of Associates” and founded the first white settlement in the Northwest Territory at Marietta, Ohio in 1788.
