John “Mark” Johnson
February 2nd, 1963 – January 18th, 2026
SATELLITE BEACH –
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 62. Mark is survived by his devoted wife Jeanna, his beloved brother Douglas, and his three treasured children, Jacob, Jasmine, and Joel. He is predeceased by his dear parents French and Patricia. Mark was born in Buckhannon, West Virginia and moved at a young age to Titusville, Florida where he grew up. He spent his younger years learning to surf, skate, pull stunts, and being a class clown. Mark was also an avid music fan who regularly attended rock concerts, and took up a hobby in concert photography. Later on, his love of surfing guided him towards a passion for travel, and he spent many years exploring the world on surf trips with his friends and family and became a fluent Spanish speaker with a love for South American cuisine. His love of the ocean is what drew him to settle down in Satellite Beach where he pursued a career in electrical engineering and started his family.
Services will be held Saturday, January 31st at 3:30 p.m. at Satellite Beach United Methodist Church, followed by a reception at Bicentennial Beach park at 4:30 p.m. Feel free to dress casual, as Mark said he didn’t want anyone wearing black unless it was a band shirt.
In lieu of flowers send donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN)
