Determination!
At about six years old, I desperately wanted to ride my older brother’s full size two-wheel bicycle. I learned to ride it but I had a BIG problem! My legs were too short for my feet to touch the ground! How to stop and get off? My solution was to swing my left leg over the bar and stop the steed like a cowboy stopping a long-horned steer — by holding on to the bicycle handlebars and digging in both heels in the ground. 🙂
