Loree Ann Fissel, 63, of Cairo, WV departed this life Friday, March 18, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Ann was born August 20, 1958, in Denver, CO, a daughter of Edith (Elkins) McCormack of Denver, CO and the late William Grant McCormack.
Ann enjoyed cooking, entertaining, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was known for coordinating several events for the Town of Cairo, was an active member of the Relay for Life, and for 11 years held an Annual Halloween Party.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Daniel Fissel of Cairo, WV; children, Grant Fissel (Chikako) of New York City, NY, Kyle Fissel (Krista) of Grand Junction, CO, Lauren Fissel of Cairo, WV; and Kathryn Fissel of Los Angeles, CA; and grandchildren, Alice, Ila, and Millie.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Richard McCormack.
According to Ann’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family is being assisted by Raiguel Funeral Home in Harrisville, WV.
